South Brewham is an attractive friendly old fashioned hamlet with its own village pub "The Old Red Lion Inn" serving excellent cuisine.(And within walking distance !)
Over thirty public footpaths criss-cross the fields of North and South Brewham, two of which start at Magpie cottage. The first leads to King Alfred’s Tower and then on to the "National Trust's Estate" of Stourhead (famed the world over for its glorious gardens, with lakes, grottoes, and temples). The other meanders north to reappear at the "Old Red Lion Inn" at North Brewham, well known for its flagstone floors, real ales and excellent food.
